I recently watched Joel Spolsky giving his talk at the 2008 Business of Software conference on video and noticed he showed a photo of mine at about 37:43 into it!

It was a photo of my old cube farm in Data Support when I was working at AT&T. The place really was about the worst example of a fluorescent lit cubicle farm. Hell on Earth.

So I mentioned it in a tweet on Twitter, and later noticed Joel had replied to my tweet too. Good times. :)

Another great example of what happens when we give a worthless douche bag a badge, gun and a little power.. I know with the pay and all that they probably can't hire the best and brightest, but for Christ's sake these complete morons aren't even smart enough to know their own fucking camera is recording their criminal acts?

This level of stupidity is just unbelievable. Not to mention he is abusing a citizen over HIS OWN FUCKUP (hitting her with his car from behind), then trying to ruin her life for it. He should get prison raped for this, over and over.

Just found out when it is I am supposed to die. If it's true, and I am really 48% through my life at this point, maybe my recent few years of weirdness was just a mid-life crisis? Maybe all this time I just needed buy a red sports car and harass/creep on some younger women? Heh..

The BART officer that shot this unarmed man in the back needs to be found and beaten to death with a baseball bat by a citizen. These scum get away with too much and treat us like slaves and cattle, when they're supposed to be a public servant. The law isn't going to deal with him, so the people should.


More on the victim and situation

UPDATE! (2009/01/14): They finally arrested the scum, Johannes Mehserle, and have charged him with murder! I never thought they would do the right thing like this. This is good news, but I still wish citizens would have gotten to him before the law did. We will see if they actually follow it all the way through and obtain a murder conviction, and not some weak plea bargain, and serve justice.

I love fog. All during December we've been getting lots of fog, and even some snow, in Austin. So this morning when I woke up to see pretty thick fog I grabbed the video camera and went out to get some of it on video. Woo?

The night before last it snowed in Austin! I hadn't seen snow here since December of 2003 when it snowed 4 inches. So I had to get out the video camera this time to record it. The really weird thing is that it was 71° the night before when I got home from work, then the very next night it's like 34° and snowing. Texas weather is weird. :)
